“Your daughter?”
Angeal raised an eyebrow to that comment. He didn’t look the type to be a father but obviously looks could decieve. These shades did sound dangerous but to Angeal, he’s had worse. Much worse. He frowned a little but gave sympathy towards the other.
“I’m.. sorry to hear about her.”
Angeal did turn around but then turned back as Nier would apologize to him. He smiled and nodded at the elder.
“It’s alright, there’s nothing to apologize for. I understand.. You could say.. I’ve been in a similar position. You know, losing the things I hold dear.”
Angeal closed his eyes and his head sank down. He was beginning to remember all his bad times once again. But he couldn’t help it. He gritted his teeth and clenched his fists as they would rummage through his mind.
“I’m here.. because I need to be. And what about you?”
“Yeah, my daughter….”
-Nier didn’t really want to talk about his daughter, but he loved her and just couldn’t help but tell everyone about his wonderful daughter, sadly it wasn’t the type of explanation that he wanted about his daughter to another person, but it was the only one he could give right now. Nier let out a small sigh and closed his eyes as he did so before looking back at Angeal and explaining, now ready for the worst.-
“My daughter is sick with a disease called the ‘Black Scrawl’. It’s incurable by using medicines. There’s things called the ‘Sealed Verses’ which are pages that belong to Weiss, and with that, Weiss can heal my daughter. Getting the Sealed Verses isn’t an easy task, but I’m going to do it.”
-Taking a moment to recover from what he just explained due to the heartache he felt from loosing his one and only precious daughter, Nier looked around him in search of some Shades that may attack the village. The silver-haired male heard the question that Angeal asked, which made him turn back towards him and speak once again.-
“This village is where I live with Yonah, so I am protecting it from Shades.”
